when puppies are about 4 or 5 months old, they tend to get a ball like swollen knee,on either side.vets call them hematomas,they drain them,is the result of laying on hard surfaces large breeds are common.I should be asking not telling but this has happened to me as well as other close friends with big dogs, vet bills can cots over $300 to drain a knee, and we only rely on what they told us,I seen it happend even when taking extreme precautions, what’s the cause,is it avoidable? and do you have to drain it? I will appreciate so much a knowledgable advice,not as a client but as a friend who shares the same passion of being Dog Lovers.
