A natural dog immune defense against disease is the responsibility of the immune system. Just like in people your dogs immune system plays a major role in natural immunity for dogs.

why is it wrong to eat a dog?
this is america. if i want to eat a dog, damnit, who are you to push your “values” on me? not only is it “wrong” in this country, but illigal. what is that about? how did dogs get this immunity from our dinner table? and why do we look at asian countries with distain because they eat dogs? they might taste good..and don’t give me that “because they are pets” argument because anything can be a pet and some people have pigs as pets, so that is silly. and what about pet fish?
Americans are funny, they would forbid a dog’s meat, but are eating dolphins, sharks, whales, of course they abhore it , but still they allow to import such a meat.
The only tabu in our diet is human meat, and in some special situations even that taboo is broken ( soccer team in Andas, some survivers from shipwreckin).
We are omniwores, and when hungry will eat whatever gives us energy, aminoacides other microelements, vitamins and so on.
If it lives here on earth we have eaten it .
But america with its atitude and the biggest population of dogs in the world, thinks about dogs as family members so they see it as
taboo meal,( like eating their relative, a human)
But humans are humans, and dogs are dogs, so they are food.
By the way indian had a traditions in eating dog’s meat when there are no other, horse you need to survive, dog’s are just food, and company.
