What Kind of Dog is Best for You? an Audio Book Can Tell You!

Nicolette had been bugging her mommy for a puppy for a long time. For her last two birthdays, and the last two Christmas holidays, she asked for a dog. Sarit wanted to get her little princess a puppy; after all, she loved dogs too. Unfortunately, the apartment complex they lived in together didn’t allow them. Now, finally, they had moved into a house that had a large yard in the back. Sarit finally had her chance to make her daughter’s dream come true! 82

Sarit decided she would surprise Nicolette with a puppy as she came home from her first day of school, which was two weeks away. Mother and daughter visited two pet stores in their neighborhood, but nothing caught their eye. They checked out the mall, but all the dogs there were way too expensive. They made a trip to the pound, but there were no dogs available at the time. 69

Sarit’s biggest dilemma was what breed of dog to get. Should they get a large dog or a small one? She wasn’t sure which breeds were good with children, and she didn’t want a dog that shed a lot of hair because they just moved into a new home. She would need a lot of information on different breeds before she could make a decision, but where would she find it? She asked her friend Heather for her opinion, and Heather gave her an audio book titled Which Dog Is Best For You And Your Family? “Listen to this,” Heather told Sarit. “This has all of the information you will need!” 111

After listening to the audio book, Sarit decided to purchase the same breed of dog that Heather had gotten her son last year. The audio book said that this particular breed was wonderful with children, didn’t shed at all, was extremely loyal to its owners, and was a great guard dog. Sarit found an ad in the local paper that was selling pure bred puppies of this particular breed, so she met with the owner during Nicolette’s first day at school and brought one home.

When Nicolette opened the door after returning home, she was greeted by a 1-month old pitbull puppy! It was the happiest day of Nicolette’s life! And Sarit was very grateful for the audio book that led her to select the correct breed for her and her daughter!

Surely it should work on iTunes and the computer, right? And I can just stereo mix the sound of the dog whistle to record it? Maybe?
