These are the only kind I have tried to make, but mine love these:

1 pound ground meat; I use turkey.
2-3 cups of a non grain flour, like chickpea or potato flour; I use gluten-free from the grocery store b/c mine have allergies
2 eggs
1 small sweet potato, skin removed, boiled, and mashed.

Mix all ingredients. Use enough flour until it makes a dough-ish consistency. Sometimes it takes more than 3 cups (depends on size of potato).

Get a cookie sheet and grease it with some oil. Spread the mixture on the sheet and flatten it out to desired thickness. Usually 1/2 inch.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. For a crunchy biscuit crack the oven a little bit while they are baking by putting something like a wooden spoon in the door. For more chewy biscuits, leave the door closed. After an hour take them out and cut into pieces using a pizza cutter. Then put them back in the oven for another hour or until they are crunchy enough. After they are done let them cool and keep them stored in the refrigerator since they have no preservatives.
