What kind of collars/halters are best for HEAVY pulling dogs?

I have a 6 month old pitbull terrier that weighs 40 pounds currently and just can’t get her to stop pulling me on walks!
1) I have tried a prong collar after my boyfriend suggested it- her neck is sensitive and gets dry skin easily, i’m also afraid that i will hurt her at such a young age if i pull too hard.
2) I have tried the Premier easy walk harness- she doesn’t seem too affected by it because she is so strong.
3) And last, just a plain halter that has a ring behind her shoulders on the top of her back to clip the leash on, that doesn’t do a darn thing!
Any suggestions? i was thinking the Sporn Mesh halter that goes under the front legs that pulls the legs back if they pull. has anyone tried this on a STRONG dog? HELP!!!!

The pulling is caused from the drive in the back legs. Try using a plain old collar and leash. Run the leash down her back and let fall to the left just in front of her back legs. Holding the leash at the back run the end of the leash under her belly and back around thru the leash being held at the top of her back. Trust me it works!
