What to Look for in an Orthopedic Dog Bed

When humans are confronted with an aching back and sore joints, what do most of us do? We lie in bed. This means the materials are high grade and durable on the outside with memory foam and virgin fiber materials on the inside.

why is my dog not sleeping in her bed anymore?

she is a german shepherd and she is 14 months old. she used to sleep in her bed outside but now she is only sleeping on the concrete floor. we tried putting food into it and she wont even go in it anymore and we don’t know why.we don’t know what to do because we are thinking that sleeping on the cold and sometimes wet concrete is bad for her bones (arthritis). anyone have any solution

she may have grown to big for it, there is a formulae for choosing a kennel size, it should be big enough for the dog to turn around in and lay down flat on its side with legs extended. Dogs can also feel claustrophobic if they feel the kennel is too small.
But do clean the kennel and put fresh bedding in.
Also, if the weather is hot where you are, it is cooler laying on concrete than in the kennel.
Lastly, my last dog refused to go in the kennel from about 18 months, never went in it or slept in it again, in the end we enclosed the garage for her and gave her access into that.
