These days, times are tight. But everyone still needs a little luxury in their life and a place to find bargains. It’s relatively easy to find coupons for drugstore brands of cosmetics. This includes the coveted coupon types like, “buy one, get one at 50% off”, or “15% off everything in your cart.”

In the world of prestige cosmetics, it can be a bit more challenging but with some digging, you may be able to find what you’re looking for.

Finding free shipping offers, especially with minimum purchase, can be pretty easy. Some of those offers don’t even require coupon codes, though you may find specials that lower the order minimums.

Finding discounts on specific high end makeup products, can be more challenging. But companies like Lancome, Estee Lauder, Urban Decay, Smashbox, etc, often have at least a gift-with-purchase with coupon code, or some other promotion to entice you to buy from their site.

5 Ways to find Makeup Coupons:

1) Sign Up for Mailing Lists – Find your favorite cosmetics brands or stores and sign up for their mailing list. They will often have special deals for people who sign up. Sephora and Ulta both usually have coupon codes on their web sites. Even if they don’t have makeup coupons, they will often still give you special promotional offers if you join the mailing list.

2) Follow on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook – Most makeup brands and stores have Twitter accounts and often special promotions and makeup coupons are announced in these places, separate from the email list.

3) A number of independent bloggers, Facebook Fan Pages, and Twitterers seem to get the inside scoop on coupon codes and makeup offers before the rest of us. I especially like Beauty Stat on Facebook though many of their finds are more obscure skin care brands, rather than big name brands.

4) Find coupon web sites that collect coupons from various manufacturers and web sites. These include places like Coupon Mountain, Retailmenot, Makeupcouponcodes.com, and a variety of blogs to help frugal shoppers find bargains for just about anything. Try searching for “makeup coupons” or “makeup offers” to do your bargain shopping.

5) Niche web sites such as Makeup Deal of the Day may offer makeup coupons on a regular basis and may allow you to find coupons that can be applied to a larger variety of cosmetic products than you find on manufacturer websites. You may need to join the mailing list to find the coupon offers on these niche sites.

Coupons can add up to really great savings if you carefully hunt for them.
